Hung up on blogging...

It's tough to blog for me! I struggle...really I do. I love, love, love to read others blogs but struggle to work on my own. For me, I seem to think that I need to upload a ton of pictures for each update - tough to do it seems. So, here is a blog update without the pics!

Things are going well for us. I am learning to get into (and find) my groove. It has been an adjustment being home - I love it but am still working on finding the balance on many things... I've decided it's definitely more fun to be home in the summer! I'm so ready to be able to get outside! Brayden and I have a lot of 'fights' where he teaches me how Batman and Spiderman fight all the bad guys. His imagination is wild right now and each phase we get into I decide that it's by far my favorite. I truly mean that now though - he is still full of his energy but is actually able to listen to us know. He is such a fun kid - goofy. I have to take a step back sometimes and really ask myself if it's worth getting so worked up over some of the stuff he does - he really is a good kid. He is more ornery than bad! He likes to tease his mom - when I am able to remember that we end up laughing together "i'm just teas'n mom." He is my buddy. I asked him the other day if he could please stop growing. His response to me was "I just can't mom...I have to grow and grow and grow - like Hulk. Then mom, I'm gonna get married! TO YOU cuz your so pretty!" Oh my! He's a keeper!

Kamryn is starting to figure out how to move! OH NO! I can't stand the thought of my baby doing this stuff already! With Brayden we were the typical first time parent - he's already doing this and that...but with Kamryn I feel like I want time to slow down! :0( She has started this thing where she lays on her back and arches it and then pushes with her legs....she actually scoots on her back! I'll have to get it on camera. Today I put on her belly and she pushed her face into the blanket and just kicked her feet like crazy....here's to those times where you are always on the move! She and I have been having a few fights lately - we are trying to wean. Wow have we found how stubborn number 2 is! I know we'll get there and hopefully by the end of it all she will figure out that mom still adores her. :0) She is the goofiest little girl - I just love her personality. She just stares at everyone with a smirk - she likes to giggle quite a bit. She also has decided that it's scary going with anyone but mom or dad....I'm hoping she works through this quickly. She seems a little more sensitive than her brother ever was (maybe that's the girl thing....we'll have to continue to see!)

Decided I should probably update our blog....I think it's been a while (lol).

Everything in the Moeller household is going really well. After the holidays, I decided not to return to work and am staying home with my kiddos. Let me just say EEEEEEKKKKK! All emotions wrapped together - fear, excitement, nervousness, happiness.........

We had a wonderful Holiday season - this year by far was my favorite. Every night Brayden would ask about Santa Claus - 'but when will he come momma....' It was a great bargaining tool, however I'm not sure I will rely so heavily on it next year....It all started with (after Christmas was over) 'Mom, Santa isn't coming to our house again, so I don't have to be a good boy....' I had to threaten to take all the toys and send them back to Santa....and was told 'Mom, you don't even know how to get to the North Pole' with which I replied that I would just hitch a ride on the Polar Express (duh...). He told me that the only way to get to the North Pole was to fly and I don't know how to fly with reindeer......OMG! We have since survived but it was rough for a while! The excitement of it all was just so magical with my lil' man and I can not WAIT for many more years with these kids. It was funny - our boy who does not (and never has) sleep in...slept in until after 8 on Christmas morning. It was all those nights of thinking and dreaming about Santa that he couldn't go to sleep with such excitement that did him in, in the end. We actually had to wake him up to see what Santa brought! I love spending the time with family - and we are so blessed with family!

Kamryn Jo has been such a fun baby to have! She is so full of smiles - she is the happiest little thing. She and Brayden have such a neat connection - I knew it would be good, just wasn't expecting it to be this good. They both just adore each other - it's so fun to watch them together. We will be sitting (or trying) at the table for dinner and Brayden will be dancing around and jumping and everything in between (yes, can't sit still yet!) - Chas and I find ourselves about to get mad at him, when we hear Kamryn squeal with excitement. She LOVES watching him and gets so excited when he is around her. It makes us take a step back....She'll start to get fussy, and he runs to save her and plays with her - she just loves him. I feel like our family is complete!

Here are some pictures from the past few months (some of the pictures were taken by Natalie Tenney...here is her link. I just LOVE our pictures and she works so great with the kids. Thanks again Nat! http://www.newdawnphotography.blogspot.com/ )

I hope to blog a little more regularly!

New Pictures

Nothing much to update - just some pictures from the last month or so. Kids are doing really well - Brayden has given us some 3 yr old hurdles but seems to be settling down a bit and Kamryn is getting to be so fun (smiling and laughing lots). I am fully back into the swing of things at work - and surviving.... The kids have transitioned really well - wouldn't have it any other way. Just miss'n them! Chas is doing well with his world - such a good daddy and husband! We've decided that this parenting thing is also a learning experience for us too (duh). We continually have to recalculate and figure out how to handle new situations. But at the end of the day - we are doing the best that we can! Kids can sure be humbling though can't they?

Three months and doing great!Kamryn has discovered her tongue! She continually just sticks it out and plays with it.
This big brother is so proud of his sis - he always asks me to take a picture with her!
This is our tough batman!I just love this picture - shows how much she just adores her brother. He comes around and she just smiles at him. Such a neat connection they have!
